Inner City Bypass, Brisbane: Crash causes major peak-hour delays on busy motorway near Bowen Hills

Motorists in Brisbane are facing major delays this morning after a single-vehicle crash caused chaos on the Inner City Bypass at Bowen Hills.
Emergency services were called to the northbound lanes about 7am after a vehicle struck a road barrier, sparking heavy congestion across the city.
Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene but has not reported any serious injuries.

The crash has also created significant knock-on delays, with Coronation Drive in Milton, Ipswich Road in Annerley, and Annerley Road through Fairfield and Dutton Park all heavily impacted as drivers seek alternative routes.
Motorists are being urged to allow extra travel time and expect delays throughout the morning peak.
