A 4-year-old girl is fighting for life with a fractured skull after she was run over by a buggy at a rugby game in a “freak accident” on Sunday.
Kaleia M’ua was attending tournament at the Tugun Rugby League Club on the Gold Coast with her family when she was struck by the buggy.
Little Kaleia’s skull was fractured in the incident, and she was rushed to hospital with multiple brain bleeds, internal bleeding, and a broken leg.

“Her mum, Amber and dad, Joe have not left their little girl’s side, while her brothers Kingston, Kohen and Khobie stand behind their sister, hoping and praying for her recovery.”
More than $34,700 has been raised on the GoFundMe at the time of publication.
“What should have been a normal family day at the footy turned into every parent’s worst nightmare,” the GoFundMe statement continued.
“No family ever imagines that a day at the footy could end like this.”
News.com.au is reporting Kaleia’s condition has stablised.
Two young boys also suffered leg injuries in the incident, and a 60-year-old woman also suffered minor soft tissue injuries.
