Man killed, woman injured by truck while walking in Mission Beach, Queensland
A man has been killed by a truck while he was walking in a north Queensland coastal town.
The 67-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman were hit by the truck on Marine Pde in Mission Beach, south of Cairns, about 11.30am on Wednesday.
He died at the scene, while the woman was taken to Innisfail Hospital with a minor arm injury.

Motorists have been asked to avoid the area amid an ongoing investigation.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is urged to contact police.
