Passenger killed, driver critically injured as car crashes into tree in Coulson, QLD

A woman has died and a man has been critically injured in a crash in Queensland’s Scenic Rim region.
Police say a Ford Courier ute was driving along Ipswich Boonah Rd, near Beaudesert Boonah Rd, in Coulson, when it veered off the road and smashed into a tree.
The passenger of the vehicle, a 52-year-old woman, died at the scene.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage has been urged to come forward.
