She suffered critical injuries and died a short time later in hospital.

A Toyota Camry allegedly seen fleeing the scene was found dumped in a street about a kilometre away shortly after the shooting.

Police will allege a man was also seriously injured during the incident.

Weribone, a beloved mother-of-three, died on her late brother’s birthday - just three months after he passed away.

She has been remembered for her “pretty smile”, “fun vibe” and her dedication to her three sons.

“Our hearts are shattered,” her cousin Kodii Aroha Lee told 7NEWS.com.au last week.

“She will be missed immensely by all of us but her spirit will live on with the precious memories we have with her.”

Ramsey is due to face Toowoomba Magistrates Court later on Monday.

Police are still appealing for people to come forward with information, particularly anyone who may have dashcam footage of Christmas Street, West Street or Gladstone Street around the time of the alleged murder on Wednesday around 1.50pm.
