Mr Kry told the outlet despite others being present at the time, the group were relentless.
“Even with other locals around, they were still brazen enough to attack the shop and attack me,” he said.
The group then fled the scene.
“A male employee approached the group who then left the area in a vehicle,” a police spokesman told NewsWire.
A short time later, the teens returned to the shop and began kicking in the front door.

Mr Kry then stormed out of the building armed with a baseball bat.
However, another teen threw an object at the bakery owner, striking him in the leg.
“Another one threw something at me, it hit my leg and I fell to the ground,” he said.
Residents nearby rushed to assist the shop owner, who sustained a broken leg and cuts in the alleged attack.
“I was so fearful, I feared everyone at that moment,” he said.

Mr Kry was taken to hospital, where he has undergone surgery on his leg.
The bakery has since shut its doors due to damage to the property, with locals launching an online fundraiser to assist Mr Kry while he recovers.

“I can’t work. I can’t make money for our family ,” he said.
“There’s a lot of uncertainty now.”
