Radio star and comedian Dave Hughes loses his cool over driver’s ‘illegal’ act in Melbourne street
The Aussie radio star and comedian threatened to call the police over the ‘un-Australian’ move.

Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes has lost his cool and threatened to call the police on a driver over a parking act on a Melbourne street.
The Aussie radio star and comedian took to social media to voice his discontent, explaining that an unattended car was parked in the middle of the street and had boxed in his vehicle on Easter Monday.
“You can’t just leave your car in the middle of the road, even on a public holiday. It’s been at least 20 minutes already,” he captioned the video he shared to Instagram.

“This is a dead-end street, and that’s all very well, except that’s our Volvo, the white one,” he said.
“That’s not good … we wanna go home.”
Hughesy suggested he was contemplating contacting police, with text overlay reading: “How long do I wait before we call the cops?”
His followers shared their two cents in the comments section, with many urging him to contact police or towing services to report the “illegal” act.
“That’s not a carpark space … call the cops now! Needs to be towed away!” one person suggested.
Another wrote: “Call cops immediately.”
“Just call a tow truck. It’s parked illegally,” a third said.
Others chimed in to make light of the ordeal, labelling the move “un-Australian”.
“This is not the Australian way!!!” one person said.
“Finders, keepers! Marketplace it!” another added.
