Melbourne billionaire Adrian Portelli, otherwise known as “Lambo Guy”, is handing out thousands of dollars worth of vouchers to Coles shoppers in Sydney.

The 35-year-old announced the giveaway on his Instagram, saying he would be at two Western Sydney supermarkets on Tuesday.

At 9.30am, Portelli will complete his first giveaway at Coles Penrith before travelling to Coles Fairfield West at midday.

“Make sure you’re in there early to make sure you don’t miss out,” he said on an Instagram story.

It’s not the first time the billionaire businessman has pulled off the stunt, having recently handed out tens of thousands of dollars worth of gift vouchers to Coles shoppers in South Australia.

Long queues stretched outside the door of the Munno Para supermarket in South Australia in November, with Portelli claiming he had given away $75,000 to those in need.

He then visited the Port Adelaide store about midday on the same day.

Portelli famously had his $3 million McLaren Senna GTR craned 57 storeys off the ground and into the apartment for it to be displayed in the living area, earning him the nickname “The Lambo Guy”.

He is the founder of subscription-only loyalty company LCMT+ and bought the penthouse last year.

The purchase set a record for Melbourne’s most expensive apartment.
