Cheesecakes were stolen when two teenagers broke into a business in Adelaide’s north overnight.

South Australia Police allege two 15-year-old boys broke into the Cheesecake Shop on John St in Salisbury at 3.10am on Friday.

The shop owner called police when he saw the youths inside his store on security cameras.

Police dog, PD Chaos, located the teenagers at the Salisbury Interchange and the cakes hidden in backpacks placed behind bushes.

The 15-year-olds, from Salisbury North and Eyre, were charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass.

They will appear in the Elizabeth Youth Court on August 2.

Police are continuing to investigate.
