Man charged over alleged hit-and-run in Adelaide’s north
One man has been charged and another is in hospital after an alleged hit and run in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Tuesday.
CCTV footage of the incident provided to 7NEWS appears to show a man yelling towards the street outside an Elizabeth Downs home before a car mounts the kerb and hits him and a tree.

The car then turns and speeds off.
Police said emergency services were called to the Burdell St address about 11.30pm on Tuesday and found a 56-year-old Elizabeth Downs man with leg injuries.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Witnesses reported the car — a gold-coloured Ford Futura — was last seen heading west on Burdell St.
Police later arrested a 42-year-old man at an Elizabeth Downs address.
He was charged with act likely to cause harm and leaving the scene of a crash, and was granted police bail to appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court on March 19.
The accused man was also taken to hospital for a blood sample to be taken, while police also said a car was towed.
