The driver of the green Holden Commodore, which is believed to have been stolen, continued along Canberra Avenue.

After fleeing the crash site outside St Edmund’s College, the driver collided with multiple other vehicles before finally coming to a stop near Manuka shops.

Police have since apprehended the driver.

“The driver of the Holden Commodore is in hospital under police guard,” an ACT Police spokesperson said.

“Sections of Canberra Avenue near Manuka and Griffith will remain closed until further notice.”
