Stabbing victim left fighting for life after alleged murder attempt in Craigmore, in Adelaide’s northern suburbs

A 58-year-old man was left fighting for life after he was allegedly stabbed several times in his home, in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, about 9.15pm on Monday.

The alleged offender, a 63-year-old man who also lives at the home on Eringa Ct at Craigmore, has been charged with attempted murder.

The victim was allegedly stabbed multiple times in his torso.

SA Police said the man’s injuries were life-threatening, but that the patient is now in a stable condition.

Investigators were seen at the home on Eringa Ct, after a 63-year-old man who lives there was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

“Both men are known to each other and this is not a random incident,” SA Police said.

The SA Ambulance Service transported the 58-year-old man to hospital, while the suspect was arrested without incident.

The 63-year-old man from the address was charged with attempted murder.

He was refused bail and to appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
