A Sydney mum has aired her dismay after she was caught at the centre of a “despicable human faeces” act in broad daylight.
Denise Gray was putting her young children into her car that was parked outside a cafe at South Village in Kirrawee on Sunday afternoon when she heard a loud thud.
“I thought I heard something hit our car, but no other cars were passing by, so I thought perhaps I had misheard,” Ms Gray wrote in a local Facebook group.

What she found was the “gross” sight of a lump of faeces splattered on the driver’s side of the bonnet.
“A couple of lovely people approached to point out that something from above had hit our car. It was human faeces,” she said.
“We didn’t see who dropped it, but it appears they waited until we were attempting to get into our car.”
According to nearby onlookers, the lump of human waste had been hurled at the vehicle from an apartment above.

While the culprit has not been found, cafe staff who witnessed the ordeal told Ms Gray the foul incident was not an isolated occurrence.
“Just feel the need to do a PSA as according to some staff members who witnessed, this happens quite often at this particular parking spot,’ the post continued.
“The staff members warned me to leave quickly as more might come.” They said it happens all the time!
“I’m utterly appalled. I’m just grateful it didn’t actually hit me or the kids.”
This was echoed by people in the comments section who shared their stories of similar situations.
“Yep have seen this happen before to someone parked there overnight. They’ve also thrown eggs over and some sort of fish/prawn concoction. Staff are well aware of it — I don’t know how this behaviour can continue! To add, we spoke to building management about this and were told to simply not park there,” one person wrote.
Another added: “The exact same thing happened to my husband and I last weekend... We’d be happy to support if you want to reach out to authorities. Wonder if this has been investigated already, given staff members seem to be aware of this?”
Others urged the Sydney mum to report the incident to police.
“How utterly disgusting. You should report this to police. Even if they can’t do anything on this occasion, if reported by others too, they will be pressed to act in the future. People like this really need to be locked up,” one person suggested.
