An investigation was launched into his death with police charging a 23-year-old Glenorchy with murder on Friday.

He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to reappear in court on April 23.

A second person, a 15-year-old boy, was arrested on Tuesday night before being charged with murder today.

He was scheduled to appear before the Youth Justice Court today.

Martin, a young father to a one-year-old son, was described as a “beautiful person” by his mother, Andii Kneebone.

Tasmania Police earlier said the public had nothing to fear about Martin’s alleged attack.

“Investigations indicate that the person or people responsible and the victim knew each other and that this is an isolated incident,” Detective Acting Inspector Nicholas Bowden said.
