Tasmania: Two people killed after tree falls on them amid severe weather
Police confirmed the tragedy this afternoon.
Two people have died after a tree fell on them during severe weather in Tasmania on Friday.
Brenda Orr, acting commander of Tasmania Police, confirmed the deaths in a press conference on Friday afternoon.
“It appears that the severe weather has resulted in a tree falling on private property, resulting in the death of those two people,” Ms Orr said.
