Teen boy stabbed several times after group of eight break into Marrickville home, in Sydney’s inner west

Two teenage boys have been charged over an alleged ambush that left another teenager covered in stab wounds on Wednesday.

Eight people allegedly broke into a house on Frazer St at Marrickville, in Sydney’s inner west, wearing face coverings about 5pm.

A 16-year-old boy inside the home was allegedly assualted, before the eight people fled.

Paramedics treated the boy for his injuries and took him to hospital. His condition is not known.

An investigation was launched, and two 15-year-old boys were arrested nearby.

They were taken to Newtown Police Station and charged.

The first boy was charged with affray, enter enclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse, armed with intent commit indictable offence, custody of knife in public place and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

The second boy was charged with affray, enter enclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

They were both granted conditional bail and are set to appear at a children’s court on May 12.
