Temora: Methylamphetamine found in nappy during traffic stop, police say

A woman has been charged over the shocking find, which was hidden inside a car.

Police have made a shocking discovery of methylamphetamine inside a nappy.

About 11.30pm yesterday, the drugs were located during a traffic stop in Temora, about 400 kilometres south-west of Sydney.

Police said two cars were stopped as part of an investigation into drug supply in the area.

In one of the cars, 93 grams of methylamphetamine was found wrapped in a nappy, which was hidden in the car’s footwell.

Three people were arrested at the scene; two women, 27 and 33, and a 32-year-old man.

The 27-year-old was charged with possessing a small quantity of drugs (not cannabis leaf/MDMA), possessing or attempting to prescribe a restricted substance, dealing with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000, and supplying a prohibited drug.

The other two people were released.

The 27-year-old is expected to appear in court on Saturday.
