Terragon: Body found partially submerged in livestock dip on northern NSW farm
Police have made a disturbing discovery at a rural property.
A body has been discovered partially submerged in a livestock dip on a property in northern New South Wales.
Emergency services were called to a stockyard on Kyogle Road at Terragon, about 20km south of Murwillumbah, about 11.20am on Monday following reports a body had been found.
Police established a crime scene at the rural property, and the body was removed from the site on Tuesday morning.

“At this time, the sex of the deceased is unknown as the scene has been preserved for specialist forensic examination,” a NSW Police spokesperson said.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out in the coming days to establish the person’s identity and determine their cause of death.
Livestock dips are used to immerse cattle or other animals in chemical treatments designed to control parasites including ticks and lice.
Police are urging anyone with information about the discovery to contact Crime Stoppers.
