A 15-year-old boy is in a critical condition after being stabbed on the Central Coast.
Emergency services were called to Painters Lane in Terrigal about 9.45pm on Friday following reports of a stabbing.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the teenager for a stab wound before he was taken to Gosford Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

After the incident, the teenager went to a home on Painters Lane seeking help, with the homeowner calling Triple Zero.
The boy and the homeowner were not known to one another.
A NSW Police spokesperson said officers had spoken to a number of teenagers who were in the area at the time, but no arrests had been made.
“Police are urging anyone with information about the incident – or who was in the area at the time with any available dashcam or mobile phone footage – to come forward,” the spokesperson said.
Officers from the Brisbane Water Police District have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
