NRL star Toby Rudolf is heading to court amid bizarre allegations he mooned a council ranger after a dispute over unleashed dogs.

The Cronulla Sharks forward has been charged with offensive behaviour in a public place in relation to an incident in January, according to The Courier Mail.

The newspaper reported that the hard-running prop was walking with former player Jeremy Latimore in Cronulla with two off-leash dogs when the pair were approached by a council ranger.

The Sutherland Shire Council ranger pointed out to the men that the dogs were off-leash. It’s alleged an argument broke out after the ranger threatened to seize one of the animals given the fact Rudolf only had one leash in his possession.

Shortly afterwards the NRL star was accused of exposing his rear end to the ranger from a distance. There are suggestions that an image was taken of such a move.

NSW Police confirmed to The Telegraph that a court attendance notice had been issued to Rudolf.

“Police were told a man had allegedly exposed himself to a council ranger following an argument on Nicholson Pde, on January 11 2026,” the spokesman said.

“Following inquiries, officers issued a court attendance notice to a 30-year-old man for behaving in an offensive manner in or near a public place or school.”

Rudolf is due to face Sutherland Local Court on Thursday over the matter.

It’s understood Rudolf’s NRL club is aware of the charge. There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by Latimore.

Rudolf, who is working to return to the field from a knee injury, has been extended with Cronulla until the end of the 2027 season.
