Tower Hill: Jim and Carmel Madden identified as couple killed when truck ploughed into home in Victoria
Two people who died when a truck veered off the road and ploughed into their home on Friday morning.
Jim and Carmel Madden were inside their Tower Hill property, when the truck came off the road, and went through a paddock before smashing into the home.
Emergency services attended the crash site on the Princes Highway just after 7am on Friday and confirmed Mr and Mrs Madden had died.

It is understood the couple are much-loved members of the local community, with deep ties to the livestock industry.
One local wrote on Facebook: “This is Jimmy Madden’s house. 81-year-old man and 80-year-old woman dead would be Jimmy and Carmel.— feeling shocked.”
The male truck driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 7NEWS chopper captured shocking images showing how the truck had ploughed through a fence before smashing into the side of the house.
Specialist teams are now on site.
The Princes Highway is closed in both directions between Gormans Rd and Rocks Rd in Tower Hill.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
