Anti-Israel activists boast about attacks on Toll Group properties in Victoria in brazen social media videos

Brazen anti-Israel activists have posted a series of videos on social media boasting about attacks on a global transport company in Victoria.
Toll Group has been the target of a spate of vandalism over its alleged role in transporting weapons for export to the US, which are then used to support “Israel’s genocidal occupation of Palestine”.
The first video, believed to be from July 15, shows a number of people splashing red paint and smashing windows at the front of the Toll headquarters on St Kilda Road in Melbourne.

In the third video from July 22, vandals who are masked and wearing gloves can be seen at the company’s Campbellfield facility smashing windows and spraying graffiti. The word “genocide” was emblazoned across the building’s facade.
In a bid to justify their vandalism, the offenders allege that Toll “supplies weapons to the “US” and “Israeli” militaries through its partnership with Thales, one of the world’s largest arms dealers.“As drivers of genocide in both this colony and overseas, all Toll Holdings assets are valid targets of sabotage. It is all of our duty to continue anti-imperialist resistance against this occupation and others.“There are no excuses. Violence is a necessary means to resist an inherently violent settler terrorist regime.”

The videos also contain threats that include “Toll will pay for its colonial violence” and “stop arming Israel or else”.
A spokesperson for Victoria Police confirmed it was investigating a number of incidents of criminal damage at businesses across Melbourne between 18 and 22 July this year.
“Investigators believe at least three incidents in Melbourne, Westmeadows and Campbellfield are linked.
“Police are also looking at whether the incidents are related to any other recent incidents of criminal damage, including an incident at a Greensborough business earlier in July.
“At this time no one has been arrested and the investigation remains ongoing.”

A spokesperson for Toll Group said they were aware of the recent vandalism and had reinforced security at several of its Melbourne properties.
“These acts, which occurred between July 18 and 22, are currently under investigation by Victoria Police, and we are cooperating fully with authorities.
“We take these matters seriously and have reinforced security measures across all affected locations. The safety and well-being of our people remain our highest priority.
“Toll Group operates in full compliance with all applicable local and international laws and regulations.”
