Cranbourne: Man arrested at scene of major house fire in Victoria
A man has been arrested at the scene after multiple houses were evacuated and fire rescue services battled a house fire in Victoria.
Casey crime investigation unit detectives have charged a man following a house fire in Cranbourne on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports of a house on fire in Roberts Road at about 4.30pm before one person inside the home at the time was evacuated safely.

Police officers were then able to take a 22-year-old Cranbourne man into custody at the scene.
He was charged with criminal damage by fire.
He was remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
