Homicide detectives are investigating a woman’s death at a home in Melbourne’s north.

The woman was found unresponsive at a property on Gottloh St in Epping at about 5.50pm on Thursday.

She died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.

Victoria Police say the woman’s cause of death is yet to be determined, but her death is being treated as suspicious.

A crime scene has been established, with a large police presence still at the scene early Friday morning.
