Female pedestrian killed in crash in Clayton, Melbourne

A female pedestrian has died after a collision in Melbourne’s southeast.
The woman was struck by a semi-trailer on Clayton Rd in Clayton about 12.50pm on Wednesday.
Emergency services treated the woman at the scene but she could not be saved.

Clayton Rd was closed in both directions between Centre Rd and Carinish Rd for some time and reopened at 6.30pm.
