Photos from one incident showed the words “Iran is da bomb” scrawled inside a mushroom cloud.

Police previously released security footage of a man they wanted to speak to over the vandalism.

At the time of the July incidents, a man was pictured concealing his identity with a Ghostface mask from the horror movie, Scream.

Police raided a South Yarra home on Monday morning, making an arrest and seizing items relating to the alleged crimes.

A 37-year-old was charged with six counts of criminal damage, six counts of marking offensive graffiti, five counts of using an unregistered motor vehicle, five counts of unlicensed, and driving one count of failing to stop on police direction.

He was bailed and will appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on November 21.
