Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a light plane crash outside of Melbourne. There are grave fears for those on board the small plane after it crashed about 50km outside Melbourne near Bachus Marsh.

The aircraft crashed around 11.20am on Tuesday in an airfield on Aerodrome Rd at Parwan.

It’s unclear exactly what caused the crash and if anyone was injured.
