Teens slashed with machetes in daylight attacks at St Kilda.

Police are hunting a group of men who attacked teenagers with machetes at Melbourne’s Luna Park.

The two teenagers were attacked by a group of male offenders on Cavell St in St Kilda at about 6.40pm on Sunday, police say.

The group of men were armed with machetes, leaving the teenagers with slash wounds.

The teenagers suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Their attackers fled the scene in a grey Land Rover.

“The vehicle was involved in a minor collision with another car at the intersection of The Esplanade and Cavell Street before it fled towards Melbourne,” a police statement read.

No arrests have been made and police are yet to locate the grey Land Rover.
