Two men have been arrested following a high-speed police chase ending in a horrific crash.

The scene on the Princes Freeway at Berwick, in Melbourne’s southeast, has caused major delays for commuters with two of the three outbound lanes now closed as emergency services work on the freeway near the Clyde Road exit.

According to 7News, cars are moving at speeds of up to 40km/h through the single open lane, and drivers are urged to take the Princes Hwy instead of the freeway.
