Baldivis crash: Motorbike rider, 25, dies in hospital after collision with car on Safety Bay Rd

A motorbike rider rushed to hospital after an early morning crash in Perth’s southern suburbs has died.

The 25-year-old was riding a black Kawasaki that collided with a red Hyundai Elantra at the intersection of Safety Bay Rd and Arpenteur Dr in Baldivis.

Police and paramedics raced to the scene just after 7am, with the rider taken to Rockingham Hospital.

Sadly, he could not be saved, and “died a short time later”, police said.

The Elantra driver, a 34-year-old woman, was taken to the same hospital as a precaution.

Major Crash officers have appealed for information from people who witnessed the crash or saw either the bike or car in the moments before the fatal incident.
