Man, 50, pulled from water at Greens Pool in William Bay near Denmark dies

A man in his 50s has died following a suspected medical episode at Greens Pool, despite the efforts of the public and paramedics to save him.

Emergency services were called to the tourism hot spot, about 20km west of Denmark, about 3.10pm Tuesday afternoon.

The man was pulled from the water, unresponsive, as members of the community began CPR while they waited for paramedics.

St John WA arrived a short time later and despite paramedics taking over resuscitation efforts, the man could not be revived.

It is understood the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
