He met his victims online through dating apps Tinder and Bumble.

During a four-week trial in the WA District Court, the jury was shown footage of the 34-year-old spiking his date’s drink at a bar while she was in the bathroom.

Mehrabi testified the drug use and sex was consensual, but the jury found him an unconvincing witness with a long history of telling lies.

He admitted to lying on dating apps about his age, height, and the fact he lived with his parents.

He was acquitted of one of the 25 charges against him, which related to the spiking of a drink.

Mehrabi faces up to 14 years in prison for each rape charge and will be sentenced in December.
