Starbucks Australia is on a roll out west after opening two stores in Perth and announcing its third store set to open in just two months.

Murdoch will be the newest home of the iconic coffee chain, with its grand opening on Wednesday showcasing another drive-thru location in Perth’s south.

The fresh hotspot for Starbucks fans has coffee addicts covered throughout the day — open Monday to Friday from 5am to 10pm and Saturday to Sunday from 6am to 8pm.

The store will be in Farrington Centre on Murdoch Drive and some social media users are worried it will create a “traffic nightmare” situated near a roundabout.

The centre is already home to other drive-thru stores including McDonald’s, 7/11 and KFC.

Starbucks’ first Perth store in Piara Waters was a queuing catastrophe as cars lined up from 4.30am on opening day and blocked traffic in the area.

Lines of people waiting for a taste of the classic Seattle curved around the block in balmy weather.

Starbucks said its Piara Waters opening surpassed Hong Kong Disneyland as the largest Starbucks store opening ever in the Asia Pacific region.

The Clarkson store was better prepared after the “overwhelming success” of the Piara Waters opening with free water and temporary shading available for coffee lovers.

Starbucks Australia chief executive Braedon Lord said the company is excited to open a third store in Perth.

“We’re thrilled to bring Starbucks Australia to the Murdoch community and expand our presence in Western Australia,” he said.

“Our mission is to bring people together over a shared love of great coffee, and this new location will offer customers a warm and welcoming space to enjoy our beverages and the moments that matter most.”

A slew of metropolitan developments intended to include Starbucks cafes have been passed in recent months, including drive-throughs in Bayswater and Hammond Park.

The chain’s Christmas menu is in full swing with a salted pretzel mocha frappuccino, gingerbread latte and toffee crunch cold brew available to give Perth locals a taste of the festive season.
