A 19-year-old motorcycle rider has been killed in a single-vehicle crash on an Adelaide motorway.

Emergency services were called to the North-South Motorway at Dry Creek at 4.30pm on Thursday.

The 19-year-old died at the scene.

Details of what happened have not been released.

South Australia Police said they were looking to speak to the rider of a red motorcycle seen riding with the 19-year-old just before the crash.
