A popular range of nibblies have been pulled from shelves across the country over a labelling issue.

Yummy Snack Foods has issued a recall on its 400g mix of Yummy Fruit and Nut Barbi-Q with best before dates from April 2 and November 25, 2025.

The recall specifically applies to products that do not include a label declaring the presence of allergens including cashews and milk.

Also being called back are 500g packets of Yummy Fruit and Nut Millionaires with best befores ranging from April 24 and November 25 this year.

The recall only applies to packets that do not warn of cashews, almonds and macadamias.

An alert from Food Standards Australia and New Zealand said snackers allergic or intolerant to nuts and milk may have a reaction if they chow down.

“Consumers who have a cashew, almond, macadamia and/or milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” the alert said.

“Consumers should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.”

The finger foods have been available at independent retailers including IGA in NSW, ACT, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, WA and the NT.

Drakes in South Australia and Queensland has also sold them.
