White Fox founders Daniel Contos, Georgia Moore’s mega mansion plans get an update as construction is underway
It was the talk of the town when White Fox’s Daniel Contos and Georgia Moore’s lodged iconic plans for a mega-mansion in Sydney’s most exclusive suburb. Now a new sneak peek shows construction under way.

It was the $150 million real estate spending spree in Sydney’s most exclusive suburb which saw the elusive founders of the $2 billion fashion house White Fox Boutique shoved into the spotlight after they snapped up five neighbouring properties.
Now Daniel Contos and Georgia Moore’s iconic plans for a “Mediterranean” mansion - with sweeping views of Sydney Harbour - are becoming a reality.
A new look at the future sprawling harbour-front mansion - dubbed Casa Del Sol - has been revealed by design masterminds, Stafford Architecture, just months after Woollahra Council green lit newly-revised plans for the main house and a luxurious secondary home on the amalgamated site off Vaucluse Rd.

Now, it can be revealed the secondary home will feature a car turntable in the basement, a sunken living area stretching over a private pool and spa, as well as three expansive bedrooms.
“Designed as a series of interconnected external and internal spaces that offer the owners different experiences and a sense of connection and well being,” a representative of design firm Stafford Architecture said.

“Embracing the serenity of the location, the design integrates spaces for both convivial gatherings and intimate conversations.
“With a focus on connecting with nature, the house invites the outdoors in, offering an irresistible invitation to immerse in the beauty that envelops it.”
Meanwhile, in updates on social media, Stafford Architecture representatives said they were rolling out “project updates and life-size mock ups” for the iconic development, describing it as “a special one”.

The designs also confirmed that the development application for the second residence on the Vaucluse property was approved in September.

Earlier this year, Woollahra Council approved the multi million-dollar redevelopment of Contos and Moore’s sweeping Mediterranean mansion plans, declaring that the development application would “not have adverse effects on the local built and natural environment”.

The planner said the redevelopment wouldn’t result in social or economic impacts to surrounding properties and “is not contrary to the public interest”.
The couple spent an estimated $150 million snapping up five neighbouring and adjoining properties on streets spanning from Vaucluse Rd and Fisher Ave to consolidate a massive 4,000sqm landholding.
It was revealed this month the couple turned fashion moguls pocketed a cool $58m dividend, with a massive $200 profit for the eastern suburbs locals in the last five years.

Accounts released this month show White Fox generated $476m in revenue for the last financial year in a 12 per cent drop on the $542 m it raked in through the 2024-25 financial year.
