The freight software company announced on Tuesday that Raelene Murphy, who joined the board on New Year’s Day, had taken on his role with immediate effect.

“Recent personal media attention is creating an unnecessary distraction from the strength of WiseTech’s business,” Mr White said.

“As I have stated previously, I strenuously and unequivocally deny the recent allegations in the media.

“Further, I am conscious that personal attacks on me in the media that are unconnected to the performance of the company nevertheless have the potential to encourage short selling activity.”

WiseTech shares were up more than 4 per cent at $36.83 in morning trade after sinking to $28.76 after the latest allegations emerged in June.

Mr White will remain on the board as an executive director and will continue in his key role as chief innovation officer, WiseTech told the market.
