Charlie Sheen has revealed he slept with men while high on drugs in a new documentary on his life.

The Two and a Half men star, 60, confirmed the story to US’ People magazine, ahead of the release of his Netflix docuseries “aka Charlie Sheen”.

“I flipped the menu over,” Sheen said, confirming the same-sex romps.

“I’m not going to run from my past, or let it own me.”

Sheen said he was using drugs at the time.

“That’s what started it,” Sheen told the publication.

‘That’s where it was born, or sparked.

“And in whatever chunks of time that I was off the pipe, trying to navigate that, trying to come to terms with it — ‘Where did that come from? … Why did that happen?’ — and then just finally being like, ‘So what?” So what? Some of it was weird. A lot of it was f**king fun. And life goes on.”

Sheen later said he was extorted over his sexual experiences with men.

“It did come with a tremendous amount of extortion. So, at the time, I was just (like), ‘All right, let’s just pay to keep it quiet’, and hope it stays there, make it go away,” he told Good Morning America on Friday.

“They had videoed things or whatever and had stuff over me, so (I) was kind of held hostage, you know, and that’s a bad feeling.”

Sheen said he felt it was “liberating” to go public with the experiences.

“(To) just talk about stuff. It’s like a train didn’t come through the side of the restaurant. A f***ing piano didn’t fall out of the sky. No one ran into the room and shot me (it’s fine),” he told People magazine.

Sheen has previously disclosed he is HIV positive, which he declared in 2015.

At the time, he said he was being extorted over it.

The 1980s heartthrob also admitted to his past serious drug use.

Sheen has since turned his life around, getting sober and attempting to make amends for his prior reckless behaviour.

He is now living a quieter life.

Sheen is a father of five, sharing Cassandra, 40, with high school sweetheart Paula Profit.

He and ex-wife Denise Richards have daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20. He also has twins Bob and Max, 16 from his marriage to ex Brooke Mueller.

aka Charlie Sheen will debut on Netflix on September 10.

The Book of Sheen will be released September 9.
