Brooke Blurton: Former reality TV star flies to London to surprise sister she’s never met in person

Former reality TV star Brooke Blurton has shared her highly emotional journey to the UK aimed at surprising her sister Rhiannon whom she’s never met in person.
In a storyline resembling that of 1998 film The Parent Trap, the WA-raised creative explained how she’d never met her older sibling on her dad’s side, with the pair yet to set foot in each other’s homelands.
“I’m so excited, I’ve never met her,” Blurton told her 251K Instagram followers in a candid video.

Then a few hours later, Blurton shared the special moment the pair were united for the very first time, describing it as “the best surprise of 2025”.
Walking nervously into a London bistro, the content creator crept up behind her sister before the pair lovingly embraced as Rhiannon’s family joyously watched on.
“I can’t tell you how much it has healed my younger self just seeing my big sister,” she wrote.
Blurton had also earlier explained that she’d penned a letter to Rhiannon that felt “surreal to write”, struggling to summarise the last 25 years of her life.
Reading it aloud, she said that “when people would call you my half sister I would correct them and say, ‘we don’t say that, she’s my sister’.”
In a series of clips, the weight of Blurton’s anticipation appeared to grow as she took followers along with her through airports, taxis, and hotels — repeatedly masking her face and appearing overcome with nerves.
She said she had been compelled to plot the pair’s first-ever encounter after attending therapy for a couple of months, and feeling like “I needed to see her”.
The two-time author added it wasn’t just Rhiannon she had been longing to meet, but her sister’s family who were also yet to physically embrace the Aussie.
“I get to meet her kids, which are my nephew and nieces,” Blurton said.
“I’m really nervous cos’ I have to fly across the country and I haven’t done that for a while all by myself. This is pretty scary.”

Rising to fame as a cast member of Australia’s The Bachelor in 2019, the digital creator recently shared another highly emotional family development.
Earlier this month, Blurton posted a teary-eyed video of herself as she was assisted with her brother’s marriage proposal.
