Elizabeth Hurley reveals Billy Ray Cyrus wooed her all summer with love songs and a tepee

Elizabeth Hurley has revealed the secret to keeping the spark alive in her love life isn’t what most would imagine — but it’s working.
The actress opened up about her relationship with Achy Breaky Heart singer Billy Ray Cyrus, describing a summer spent between guitars and garden tools.
“He’s definitely more romantic than me; he spent the summer strumming his guitar under a tree, composing love songs as I strimmed and chainsawed around him,” Hurley, 60, laughed.

“Billy and I watch birds of prey through our binoculars most days and see them build nests, hunt to feed their babies and then prepare them to go out into the big, bad world and fly solo,” she said.
“While I’m not ripping up squirrels with my talons to feed my son, I would if I had to. There’s nothing like parenthood to bring out the call of the wild,” The Mirror revealed.
Hurley revealed the country singer had gifted her a “giant tepee” for her birthday.
“We snuggle up in that and it’s extremely romantic,” she told Attitude Magazine. The gesture came after what she described as a season of song.
“He has written a song,” she confirmed. “I don’t know if it’s about me, but it’s for me.”
The couple went public in April, hard-launching their relationship with an Instagram post of Cyrus planting a kiss on Hurley’s cheek.
They were later spotted looking inseparable at the National Television Awards, with Liz joking, “Billy and I have so much hair between us that we’re in constant danger of choking on hairballs.”
Her 23-year-old son Damian has already given his approval.
“Being a parent is all-consuming, and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Liz said.
“I’ve put bringing up my baby ahead of everything.”
Friends close to the pair told The Sun that despite their different backgrounds, Hurley and Cyrus have “a lot in common” and “share the same interests,” with insiders suggesting that “marriage could be on the cards.”
“Billy is very much Elizabeth’s type — he’s got a twinkle in his eye and a mischievous streak she can’t resist,” one source said.
Hurley was previously married to businessman Arun Nayar, tying the knot in 2007 in lavish ceremonies spanning England and India. The couple divorced amicably in 2011, with Hurley once revealing their split was so friendly it was “the cheapest case” her lawyer had handled.
Following her marriage with Mr Nayar, Hurley entered a high-profile relationship with Australian cricket legend Shane Warne.
