Elizabeth Hurley shares unexpected life update during a red carpet interview

Elizabeth Hurley has put the speculation to rest, confirming what fans have been buzzing about since Easter — and her steamy romance with Billy Ray Cyrus is full steam ahead.
After an interview with the Daily Mail at the 2025 Hot Pink Party for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in New York City, the 59-year-old actress and model didn’t hold back when asked about her relationship with the country music star.
“I’m very happy in my new relationship,” she said.

The loved-up declaration on the red carpet comes just weeks after the couple made their romance Instagram-official with a PDA-filled photo on Easter Sunday.
Hurley has since shared glimpses of their life together on Cyrus’s Nashville farm — including a dreamy sunset ride — while also receiving visible support from her 23-year-old son, Damian Hurley, who joined her at the gala.
When asked if she’s had the chance to spend time with Cyrus’ six children, including pop icon Miley Cyrus, Hurley remained tight-lipped.
But her joy was clear as she posed on the carpet in a sparkly pink floral dress.

While at the event, Hurley also spoke about her three-decade commitment to breast cancer advocacy in memory of her late grandmother, who passed away in the 1990s.
“I’ve been raising funds and awareness of breast cancer for 30 years now,” she said.
“I think about my grandmother at every single event... if only. But I know she’d be so proud.”
Cyrus, 63, has also taken to social media and opened up about the relationship, calling it a bright spot in what had been a difficult time in his life.
After finalising his most recent divorce from Firerose in August 2024, the singer received an unexpected text message from Hurley.
“She reached out and said, ‘Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough, just wanted you to know I’m in your corner,’” he told The Ty Bentli Show.
“I text back, ‘Who is this?’
And she’s like, ‘Elizabeth Hurley.’”
Though they hadn’t spoken in two years since filming their 2022 holiday movie Christmas In Paradise, the chemistry came rushing back.
“We just laughed,” Cyrus said, recalling their brief scenes together.
According to sources, Hurley recently spent a few weeks in Tennessee with him and “had a great time being surrounded by nature in a laid-back environment.”
The couple is now navigating a long-distance relationship but remains committed.
“They are keeping in touch and plan on seeing each other again soon,” an insider said.
As for her upcoming 60th birthday? Hurley plans to keep things intimate, and it’s not yet confirmed whether Cyrus will be joining the celebrations.
Cyrus hasn’t been shy about singing her girlfriend’s praises.
The star recently reposted a video featuring Hurley alongside Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, commenting: “I should be jealous, but WOW!”
He followed it up with, “Congratulations, Bryan Adams, on your great new video with my beautiful girlfriend.”
Followers were quick to show their full support for the couple’s blossoming romance in the comments.
“She’s gorgeous!!! Happy to see you’re happy again!” one user wrote.
“Cute video, and she is beautiful. So happy you’re together,” another added.
“Y’all make a cute couple,” a third chimed in.
