Spencer Lofranco: Actor who starred with John Travolta in Gotti movie dies aged 33

Canadian actor Spencer Lofranco, best known for his role alongside John Travolta in mob movie Gotti, has died, aged 33.
Best known for gritty roles, Lofranco starred in the 2014 prison drama Jamesy Boy alongside Mary-Louise Parker and Ving Rhames and in Gotti in 2018.
His other film credits include 2014’s At Middleton, Unbroken in 2014 and Home in 2015.

His brother, Santino Lofranco, shared the devasting news on Instagram, posting a series of pictures from their childhood together and others from happier times.
Alongside the post he wrote: “To the legend @roccowinning. My brother. You lived a life only some could dream of. You changed people lives, and now you are with God. I will always love you and miss you Bear. RIP. October 18, 1992 - November 18, 2025.

Santino’s followers have responded to the post, hinting at recent dark times for the actor. One wrote: “He was in tears last week wanting to get sober for his mom and dad. It was hitting him hard. RIP”
Another commented: “I am so sorry for your loss. I was really rooting for him. He was so close to making that change.”
It is understood Lofranco’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed and police in British Columbia are investigating.
Lofranco’s last Instagram post was a week ago, with him urging his followers to subscribe to his OnlyFans as he got his face tattoo burned off.
LoFranco embarked on his acting career at 17 and studied acting at the New York Film Academy, despite, he told one interviewer, his father wanting him to be a hockey player and a lawyer.
His father, Rocco LoFranco, is a lawyer practising in Toronto, while his mother is and actress and model.
