Michael B. Jordan is looking very sexy in the first teaser trailer for The Thomas Crown Affair
In just one minute and a half, Michael B. Jordan has proven he gets the essential element of what makes The Thomas Crown Affair an enduring story.
There’s one essential characteristic to Thomas Crown – he has to be sexy.
He has to ooze provocative sensuality because, otherwise, he would be little more than an arrogant scoundrel and criminal.
On paper, Thomas Crown is rich, aggressive in accumulating that wealth, bored and entitled, and thinks nothing of claiming what isn’t his. That doesn’t make for the best dating profile.

We’re about to get the third big-screen iteration of Thomas Crown and the first teaser dropped overnight with a very sexy Michael B. Jordan in the title role, following in the footsteps of also sexy men Steve McQueen and Pierce Brosnan.
Judging by the one-and-a-half minute clip, Jordan understood the assignment. His Thomas Crown is debonair, hot and hints at a dangerous side. He’s definitely an adrenaline junkie, racing fast cars, scaling buildings and playing with fire with the insurance investigator assigned to catch him.
There’s also a shot of him leaping onto the roof of a building, which, of course, recalls that other smooth cinematic cat burglar: Cary Grant in To Catch a Thief.
Jordan also directed this remake, which is the second time he’s jumped in that chair after helming Creed III in 2023.
Jordan wrote on his Instagram page alongside the teaser trailer, “Thomas Crown has always been about one thing. A man who moves through the world on his own terms, plays by his own rules, and wants something nobody thinks he should have.”
The Thomas Crown Affair also stars Adria Arjona in the role Faye Dunaway and Rene Russo previously played, as well as Kenneth Branagh, Lily Gladstone, Danai Gurira, Pilou Asbaek and Aiysha Hart.
It’s due for release in cinemas in March.
