H3 Podcast: YouTube couple Ethan Klein and Hila Klein file for divorce amid infidelity claims

Popular YouTubers Ethan and Hila Klein have officially filed for divorce after shock claims Ethan had been cheating on his wife for months.

The H3 Podcast figures married in 2012 and share three children, but separated in October after Hila publicly accused her husband of engaging in an ongoing affair after catching him in a web of lies.

According to Complex, Hila proceeded with the divorce papers citing irreconcilable differences.

Her team is requesting joint custody of their children, and that Ethan pays her attorney’s fees, as well as spousal support.

Hila spoke of her husband’s “betrayal” in a candid Instagram post shared on October 23.

“I am living in a nightmare I can’t wake up from,” she wrote.

“My husband has been having an affair. I have been fed lie after lie after lie for months. I am tired of lies.”

Hila said she sensed something was amiss and shared her concerns with Ethan, who he reacted dismissively towards her concerns.

She added he was eventually “caught in a lie”, at which point she knew she was “done”.

“After I dragged these lies from him, he finally admitted he’d been in an affair for over six months, the extent of which I’m sure I still don’t know,” she continued.

“The betrayal I feel is immeasurable. The person I trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight.”

Raised in Israel, Hila said she now felt alone in the US after her husband’s infidelity.

She has requested her maiden name of Hacmon to be restored as part of divorce proceedings.

The remaining members of The H3 Podcast — which boasts a YouTube following of 2.49 million — have since publicly distanced themselves from Ethan, denouncing his behaviour in a statement.

“We are all shocked, angry, and heartbroken to learn about Ethan’s ongoing affair,” the H3 team said.

“As soon as we found out, we all agreed: we would not continue working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way. We don’t yet know what that means for the future. There’s a lot to work through, and we wish we had more answers for you.

“We stand with Hila and will support her every step of the way. We’re disgusted by Ethan’s actions and the hurt he has caused. We all deserved better: Hila, us, and you.”

Ethan recently asked that the public “respect my family’s privacy”.

In his own statement, the internet personality declared he had been acting to remove financial connections to any of his wife’s fashion and beauty businesses or shared podcasts.

“I am working with Hila to urgently remove my ownership and financial stakes in any podcasts, Teddy Fresh, Teddy Glow or any joint venture that I would profit from,” he said.

“All of your support will go directly to Hila and the crew. I do this in the hope that people can still support Hila and the crew without the concern of enriching me.”

The H3 Podcast remains on hiatus as members work through the situation.
