Hudson Joseph Meek: Young star of Baby Driver dies aged 16 after falling from moving vehicle in Vestavia Hills
The young star of hit 2017 film Baby Driver has died at just 16 years of age after a freak accident involving a moving vehicle.
Hudson Joseph Meek, played the young version of the main character Baby in the Edgar Wright film, creating enormous career potential for the young actor.
Jefferson County Coroner’s Office in Alabama told local station WVTM that the teen had sustained a “blunt force trauma” after being ejected from a moving vehicle on Thursday 19 December.

Confirming the tragic news, his social media account shared a messaging saying: “Our hearts are broken to share that Hudson Meek went home to be with Jesus tonight.”
“His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met.
“Specific details regarding a celebration of Hudson’s Life to be held on December 28, as well as how to contribute to a scholarship in Hudson’s memory at Vestavia Hills High School in lieu of flowers, will follow.“Please pray for Hudson’s family and friends as we all process this sudden and tragic loss.”
Meek had acted from a young age and had also appeared in Found, 90 Minutes In Heaven, MacGyver and The School Duel.
