Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness reportedly ‘rebuilding’ their relationship following high-profile divorce

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness are moving in a “positive direction” as the former power couple “rebuild” their relationship following a highly publicised break-up.
The Aussie stars finalised their separation in June after 27 years of marriage, which started when they met on the set of Correlli.
Despite their long history, the split turned messy when Furness, 69, hinted at an act of “betrayal” committed by Jackman, 57.

“They have been slowly rebuilding communication the last couple months,” an insider told US Weekly.
“It was so difficult when they were dealing with business stuff. It was tense. Now it has shifted toward more emotional closure.”

The insider said the Aussie sweethearts have “talked and met on a few occasions to talk about unresolved issues”.
“The groundwork began after they wrapped legal filings, and that was helpful so they could have a meaningful dialogue to figure out a way to move forward,” they said.
Reports that the former couple are moving in a “positive direction” comes as encouraging news for fans who were left shattered by their divorce and the ensuing fallout.
The Wolverine star needed little time to move on from his wife of three decades, with a new love sparking months before their split was finalised.
Last month Jackman took the red carpet for Song Sung Blue with his new partner Sutton Foster, but Furness has stayed out of the spotlight since the split, with sightings of the producer a rare occurrence.
Reports surfaced that she was “ready to move on” from Jackman, as she “swooned” over A-list star John Travolta who Furness was keen to be swept off her feet by.
