Jojo Siwa: US singer slammed for stealing the spotlight at brother’s wedding in glitzy silver gown

US singer and dancer Jojo Siwa has come under fire for stealing the spotlight at her brother’s wedding in California this weekend.

Siwa, 22, was a bridesmaid for her brother Jayden’s now wife Abbie at the couple’s wedding at Indian Wells in California on Saturday.

Siwa was pictured in a glitzy silver gown with a plunging back, which was paired with a bridal party bouquet, and her hair was carefully styled into a bubble ponytail.

The former Dance Moms star took to social media to congratulate the happy couple on their marriage and “most perfect” wedding with brightly coloured photos of herself, her family, and boyfriend Chris Hughes.

“And just like that, there’s another Siwa added to the family🤍,” she captioned the post.

Although Abbie’s bridesmaids were pictured in differently styled and coloured gowns, the Bette Davis Eyes singer came under fire from fans who accused her of stealing the spotlight with such a glitzy gown.

Siwa was also pictured with cake smeared over her face and gown later in the night, in a sweet picture with her brother.

“Brother’s wedding, but pictures are like. . . ‘EVERYTHING IS ABOUT ME’,” one comment said.

“Are you the bride?” another asked.

“One picture of the bride. The rest of yourself,” another said.

Other fans were more complimentary of Siwa’s outfit for the day.

“You look so pretty 🤍,” former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson said.

“Stunninggggggg,” another commenter said.

“Congrats to him!! And obsessed with your hair!,” another said.

Despite only dating for less than ten months, Siwa’s boyfriend Chris Hughes, 33, was also included in the bridal party as a groomsman for Jayden, 25.

“A perfect week with the family celebrating Jayden & Abbie tying the knot…my heart is very full,” Hughes captioned an Instagram post.

“Honoured to be one of Jayden’s boys alongside some great lads, special day!”
