Keith Urban: Has country singer hit financial low following split from Nicole Kidman?
The Aussie singer is making different career choices now that he’s no longer married.

Keith Urban’s latest career move is either a gesture of love to his adoring fans, or a hint at the singer’s financial situation following his split from Nicole Kidman.
The Aussie, 58, recently booked a gig performing on a country music-themed cruise ship setting sail from Florida to the Bahamas — a far cry from the stadium shows he’s accustomed to.
With his divorce settled in January, a source close to Urban told New Idea the move was a result of his expensive legal fees, suggesting the “lawyers don’t come cheap”.

“He’s trying to stay busy now that his divorce is finalised.”

Joining Top Shelf Country Cruise in Nassau for a day, a social media post shared by the company said Urban “came on board for a special interview with Crook & Chase, followed by a cruise-exclusive performance under the Bahamian stars”.
Only 1100 passengers were reportedly in attendance.
The annual expedition is billed as a signature experience featuring “country’s biggest stars at sea”.
The source suggested Urban “would have turned his nose up” at such a gig while married to Kidman.
“He’s quietly taking on any available work right now to keep busy, and it doesn’t hurt that these gigs help to keep his cash flow steady too,” they added.

Celebrity Net Worth estimates Urban’s wealth to be approximately $75US million ($107m).
By contrast, his ex’s is pinned at $250US million ($358 million).
The former couple agreed to no spousal support or child support payments.
Raising children Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, Urban has been allocated every second weekend with his kids post split, or 59 days per year.
Parting ways in September 2025, the Big Little Lies star cited “irreconcilable differences” as motivation for their marriage breakdown.
