Alan Ritchson: Reacher, Fast X and Hunger Games star in footage allegedly beating neighbour in front of kids
Actor Alan Ritchson has been filmed allegedly attacking a neighbour while two children watch, during a heated street confrontation.

Actor Alan Ritchson has been filmed allegedly attacking a neighbour during a heated street confrontation in Tennessee, with the incident now under police investigation.
Footage obtained by TMZ shows the 43-year-old Reacher star appearing to throw several punches at a man who is on the ground. Two children on motorbikes, believed to be his sons, are seen watching as the altercation unfolds.
According to the alleged victim, Ronnie Taylor, tensions began the day before when Ritchson was riding a green Kawasaki motorcycle through their quiet, upscale neighbourhood. Mr Taylor claimed the actor was travelling at high speed, revving the engine and disturbing residents.

“There is an active investigation, and no arrests have been made. There will be a police report available when the investigation has concluded,” a spokesperson told the Daily Mail.

Mr Taylor said he reacted to the initial encounter by flipping Ritchson off, which the actor allegedly returned. The following day, at around midday, Ritchson rode through the area again, this time accompanied by two children on their own bikes, and was again allegedly speeding.

Mr Taylor claimed he confronted the actor, saying, “Can you f...ing stop this please,” which is when the situation allegedly escalated.
He alleged Ritchson punched him in the face, kicked him, and struck him “at least four times,” including blows to the back of the head. Mr Taylor also claimed Ritchson fell off his bike during the incident, then got up and attempted to run him off. He said he was left with bruising and swelling but did not seek hospital treatment.
The video appears to show Ritchson retrieving his helmet and attempting to regain control of his motorcycle, which briefly veers onto a lawn. Mr Taylor is then seen picking something up from the ground, approaching the actor, and walking away. Ritchson later rides off, followed by the two children.
However, sources close to Ritchson have disputed Mr Taylor’s account, telling TMZ the actor did not initiate the confrontation. They alleged Mr Taylor “bolted into the street to try to stop Alan’s bike in a really aggressive manner,” and claimed Ritchson was “pushed off his bike twice” before the altercation.
The same sources said Ritchson suffered cuts, bruises and a minor finger injury, and alleged Mr Taylor “dared” him to hit him while “yelling” as the actor was on the ground. They also claimed Ritchson attempted to leave but was shoved again, which provoked the fight. According to those sources, he has been cooperative with police and no one has been arrested.
Ritchson is widely known for his role as Jack Reacher in the Amazon Prime Video series Reacher, which is based on novels by Lee Child. The show, which premiered in 2022, is set to return for a fourth season in 2026.
He has also appeared in a string of major film and TV projects, including Fast X, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Titans.
The actor has previously spoken publicly about his mental health. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he revealed he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder following a suicide attempt in 2019.
“I was diagnosed as bipolar right after. Deep down, I was comforted to know, ‘OK, there’s a name for this.’”
Ritchson said he later sought treatment and reflected on his purpose, describing it as “to make the world a better place and serve others.”
