Kim Kardashian has led an outpouring of tributes for Hollywood hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, who died aged 34.

Guerrero famously worked with the Kardashian family and other starts including Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry.

The talented creative’s family announced his death on Instagram. Guerrero’s cause of death has not been announced.

“Our great respect for the art of hair and make-up has led us to meeting some of the kindest souls and made some of our bestest friends,” Kim Kardashian wrote in the post.

“So, when one of our glam family members passes away all of our souls are crushed.

“My heart breaks for Kylie and everyone who loved Jesus the way we all did.”

Family members announced the news of Guerrero’s death through an Instagram Story on Sunday.

“Our family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support during this hard time,” the post read alongside a photo of Guerrero sitting at the beach.

“Jesus was the brightest light, we have never doubted that he touched the hearts and lives of everyone he came across.

“We have fallen into tears repeatedly reminiscing and wondering what we could have done different to still have him with us.”

His sister Gris Guerrero, 26, launched a GoFundMe page following the news to help with expenses.

“Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly,” she said.

“Currently, his family is taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home to Houston.”

As of Monday, the fundraising page as surpassed its US$80,000 goal and has reached US$96,000.
